Feeling stressed out?
Since most of my posts have been related to pets but specifically dogs I am going to continue the theme. This time I will be talking about how dogs can help reduce stress. There are countless ways an animal or pet can reduce stress in one’s life. I can attest to a dog relieving all types of stress and negative vibes. When I would have a long day of class and work coming home to my dog just took off so much weight off my shoulders. Having a pet, specifically a dog, gave me so much comfort when I felt stressed. Dogs can not only reduce stress and make you feel better, but they can also lower your blood pressure. Blood pressure can be a physical measure of stress. Being in the presence of an animal can help ease the stress you’re experiencing. I can relate to this because I’ll catch myself feeling stressed or overwhelmed and I will see a cute dog or cat and it will instantly change my mood.
